Kozlov Dance International, the not for profit performing arts company of Kozlov Dance Studio, presents the full length version of “The Nutcracker” annually at the Berrie Center of Ramapo College, Mahwah, NJ. The production, with choreography by Leonid Kozlov, a veteran of the New York City Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet Company in Moscow, features guest artists and students from the studio as well as costumes and scenery direct from the Bolshoi Theatre Workshops in Moscow, Russia. Kozlov Dance International (KDI), the not for profit performing arts company of Kozlov Dance Studio, presents a full length “ The Nutcracker” production annually in December at the Russ Berrie Center for the Performing Arts of Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ. Kozlov Dance International’s production of “The Nutcracker” was first staged for The Australian Ballet in 1981, by Leonid Kozlov. Since 1993 KDI has been presenting the production in New Jersey, featuring guest performers as well as students from Kozlov Dance Studio. The production’s costumes and scenery were made especially for KDI in the Bolshoi Theatre Workshops in Moscow, Russia.
